2015-5-13 – Update from Washington, D.C.

Omar Nashashibi of The Franklin Partnership, LLP, one of NADCA’s lobbyists in Washington, D.C. discusses some of the latest news in Washington. Nashashibi reported that the Department of Labor sent the Overtime Rule over to the White House for review. Although we don’t know all the details of this rule until it is released we do know that it will increase the number of workers eligible for overtime. In addition, the EPA has sent their final draft of the new Power Plant Rule to the White House.
