Omar Nashashibi of The Franklin Partnership, LLP, one of NADCA’s lobbyists in Washington, D.C. discusses some of the latest news in Washington. Nashashibi reported the House was able to pass an R&D extension bill. In addition, the White house is currently reviewing the new Power Plant Rule and that they may remove the carbon capture sequester requirement. Also, the combustible dust rule is moving forward. A small business review panel is being created and will convene that panel no later than February of 2016.
